=SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(MATCH(G3:G10,{"Jul","Aug","Sep"},0)),H3:H10)

[C]

=SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(G3:G10,{"Jul","Aug","Sep"},H3:H10))

Invoke [B] or [C] when you have {"Jul","Aug","Sep"} in some range, say
X1:X3 which is then substituted for the {"Jul","Aug","Sep"} bit in these
formula schemes.

their Excel numeric equivalents.
[2] The lookup functions should have an optional argument for the return
value, defaulting to #N/A in its absence.
