Just to add one more:
Put n (= number of terms of the sequence f(x)) in A1 and x in A2 then enter the following array formula:
=1+SUM((FACT((ROW(INDIRECT("1"&":"&A1))))^-1)*A2^ROW(INDIRECT("1"&":"&A1)))
(Note that n > 21 will not change the result).
