You may find this post by JulieD helpful:

to sort them in alphabetical order
another "trick" is to right mouse click on the sheet selection arrows
(bottom left of screen) which will display a list of sheet names - you can
then select the one you want from there

There is some code available on Chip Pearson's site (http://www.cpearson.com/excel/sortws.htm) to allow you to do this. Alternatively you could download ASAP Utilities add-in (http://www.asap-utilities.com) as this has an option to do it, or you can have my add-in that does it, amongst a few other utilities (free on request to dominic@dom-and-lis.co.uk) or you could buy John Walkenbach's excellent Pup v6 (http://j-walk.com/ss/pup/pup6/index.htm) which has a very sophisticated sheet sorter, but that'll cost you $40.
