I'm writing a spreadsheet to track trades on the Foreign Exchange market. Prices are quoted with 5 significant digits, but for prices quited in yen, the decimal point is in a different place. Examples:

GBP/USD 1.8893 most currencies follow this format
USD/CHF 1.4390
EUR/USD 1.3143
USD/JPY 105.90 but yen follow this format.
GBP/JPY 216.11

I went to try to do this with a conditional formatting, it did not have a section for numbers or setting the decimal places. There are custom formats for numbers, and the closest I can get for a general is ##0.00##, but this truncates trailing zeros, which are very significant.

Is there another way to logically set the decimal place format?

thanks
