Re: Is there a converter to read Quattro pro files on Excel 2002?

    Hi Suseel

when i do file / open in excel 2002 one of the types of files i have listed
to open is Quattro pro (*.wq1) files. So i'm guessing it's a standard
converter supplied with excel - here's an extract from Help (ver 2003)

    ----
Import or export a Quattro Pro file
Microsoft Excel provides Quattro Pro file converters to help you
transfer spreadsheet data between Excel and Quattro Pro.

Note If you don't find these convertors on your machine, you may need
to download them from Microsoft Office Update (type "Quattro Pro" in the
    Search box).

    and

Supported Lotus 1-2-3 and Quattro Pro versions

Excel can directly open files from Lotus 1-2-3 versions up through 4.0
(*.wk?) and Quattro Pro for Windows versions 5.0 and 7.0 by using the
Quattro Pro converter. To open a file from a later Quattro Pro version in
Excel, either save the file in an earlier Quattro Pro format, or save the
file in another format, such as Lotus 1-2-3 (*.wk?).

    ----

    Cheers
