Making fax coversheet in word

I want to make a fax coversheet in word 2000. When I type a person's name
or fax number on the line that I put on the document, the line moves with
the text that is being typed. How do you make a form that prevents this
from happening.

Have you tried pushing the little 'Insert' button on your keyboard over by the 'Delete' and 'Home' keys?

if that don't work, try a Word forum like Dave said.
