Formula(array or otherwise) to AVERAGE&MIN&MAX data in one column in different size blocks

    Hi All,

I have one column(Column C) of hourly data that appear in different size of rows. For example; one set of data may have 18 rows (X), a second set of data may have 32 rows(Y), a third range may have 135 rows(X) of data, the fourth range may have 235 rows (Y) of cells. The size of the row groups are not fixed and it can vary. The row groups are called either X or Y. All these row groups simply represents the status of a system.

In the attached excel file, I have 5 columns and the 3 of them are the inputs, such as: The first one (Column A) represents the hours of the year, the second column(Column C) represents the hourly prices, the third one (Column D) represents either the X or Y status.

What I need is to formulate the average of every X and Y data blocks in Column E. Beside this, I also want to formulate MIN of X and MAX of Y data blocks in Column F.

Thaks in advance for your kind support.
    Alp
