Exclamation Help with Dynamic Calendar_Incorrect Event Text Color

Hello Everyone, I've created a dynamic calendar in Excel, but I'm having trouble with the text color of my event labels.
The goal is to have the event text for the current selected month displayed in dark black, while the text for events in the previous and next month should be in gray.

However, despite my efforts, the text for the current month is still showing as gray, not dark black as intended. I suspect I might have missed something in my conditional formatting or formulas.

I have attached a sample file for reference. Here is what I've tried so far:
    • Using conditional formatting to change the color of the text based on the selected month.
    • Tried applying different formulas to check if the cell date belongs to the current, previous, or next month.

Could anyone help me identify what I might be missing or suggest a solution?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Try for 1st row: CF formula: =SUM(DAY(B7:$AC7))>20
For last 2 rows: CF formula: =SUM(DAY(B23:$AC23))<20

    @josephteh,
I’ve got it working for gray dates (event text turns gray when the date is gray), but I’m running into an issue with dark black dates.
I’ve already set up conditional formatting based on the date's color, but it seems like the black color isn’t triggering the desired text color change.

Please be specific, with the month April 2025 selected, which cell(s) you are referring to.

Re: Help with Dynamic Calendar_Incorrect Event Text Color

    Try,
CF formula: =IsCurrentMonth=FALSE, applies to: =$B$7:$AC$30
CF formula: =TEXT(E7,"mmmm")<>Selected_Month, applies to: =$B$8:$AC$10,$B$12:$AC$14,$B$16:$AC$18,$B$20:$AC$22,$B$24:$AC$26,$B$28:$M$30
CF formula: =MATCH(B7,List!$J$3:$J$161,0)>0, applies to: =$B$7:$AC$30,$AE$10:$AK$15,$AE$20:$AK$25

Your comment is totally not helpful. I put in the effort, and this is the best you can do? I am out.
