HI and thank you in advance.

I am trying to simplify/correct our manufacturing routings. In the sample attached, routing sample.xlsx, Col A is operation sequence and Col B is the work center.
all operation sequence 10 will be work center 100-01.
I need a formula or something that will search out 150k for the operation sequence 10 in Col A and place 100-01 in Col B.

are you looking for a formula that will overwrite everything in column B while returning all the same values except those where 10 is in column A?
if you want a formula for col C that will have 100-01 as a result across from 10 in col A but the same value in col B for any other number then =IF(A2=10,"100-01",B2)
you could use that all the way down then copy and paste special values pasting it over what is in col B.

You can mark the thread as SOLVED by selecting Thread Tools from the menu immediately above and to the right of your first post in this thread (i.e. the grey bar), and choosing to mark the thread as SOLVED.

You might also like to know that you can directly thank those who have helped you by clicking on the small "star" icon located in the lower left corner of a post that you have found to be helpful (not just in this thread - for any post that has helped you).
