Comparing 2 columns then updating and adjusting 2 other colums/updating

Good morning,
Rather desperate here. I've used very basic excel at my previous job but the new positions require alot more of an in-depth approach.

General summary

Comparing two columns for exact matches, column B and Column V.
If any cell in column V exactly matches any cell in Column B (aside from blanks), then to take the 1-digit number assigned to column W on the corresponding match and transfer that data into column K with +1 value.

TL;DR
If any cell value in column B exactly matches anything cell value in V, then to take the digit assigned to W and transfer that number +1 to column K next to the cell number that matched.

Really hoping there is a formula that can help me out.

Not sure if I am saying this correctly so, please let me know if you need further information.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
