    Max/Min formula

    Hi All,

First time poster. I am hoping someone may be able to tell why this max/min formula returns no value when entering negative criteria? The aim of the formula is to take an annual value, and aportion across 12 periods on a 4week, 4week, 5week basis, until an end date is reached within the criteria. So I would like row 10 on the example, to show a negative value from column Q onwards, until the end date show in column L.

    Re: Max/Min formula

    Welcome to the forum.

Looks like it's returning zero. Explain what thje formula is meant to be doing (I am not going to try to reverse engineer it).

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
