Text string added causes decimal issue

Any help would be much appreciated - the file is attached: TempUpload2.xlsx

I have test data in Sheet1.

I want to add a text string to the end of the values however, when I add the string to the end of the formula, it changes it from 1 decimal to 14 decimals.

How can I fix this to for example 1 decimal, please?

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Have a look at the TEXT() function when you need to convert a number to text: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...8-93d29371225c

Your column header is "Years" so appending text to the calculation is redundant. But, you can use custom number format:
0.0 "Years" for that column and still be able to use the calculation results elsewhere.
