    Post Excel formula help

    Hello Everyone,

    I hope you're doing okay.

I need help with an excel formula.

so basically I'm trying to track how many times an employee refuses a shift. I have approximately 85 unique employees, and every time they do not submit their availability, they add a point( 6 points and they get a drop in seniority) I have tried using a what if formulae =IF(AND(COUNTIFS($D$5:D5,D5,$G$5:G5,"No")>=2,COUNTIFS($D$4:D4,D4,$G$4:G4,"No")>=2),1,0) however, it isn't working as well as I'd hope.

any guidance would be much appreciated.

    Re: Excel formula help

Shouldn't the Refusal Number (H4) be this:

    =COUNTIFS(D$4:D4,D4,G$4:G4,"No")

which will maintain a count of No for each individual name ? Then in column I you can just look for column H being 6 or more.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

    Hello Pete,

    Thank you for your response!

column H is to track refusals over the phone, However, in Coulmn G, if an employee doesn't submit their availability by default, for two consecutive months then they are given another point.

    Re: Excel formula help

We may be better able to help if we could see a sample file illustrating "if an employee doesn't submit their availability by default, for two consecutive months".
It might also help if the rational for the formula in post #1 were explained in words.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
