max if formula

Hi everyone,

I have a list of products divided by type. Each product has a different total area.

I am looking for a formula that finds the maximum total area of a product type.

So let's assume in cell B27 I have a dropdown menu of Capsules and Tablets, a formula in B29 should show 10.64 if Tablets selected in B27 since there are 3 tablet products and the max total area is 10.64. Similarly, the formula should find max total area of the capsule products.
