How Many digits in a spreadsheet

I'm trying to do a simple formula to figure out how many numbers are in the list.
We Letter sports jersey so we need to know how many 1's and 2's ect we need.
If we have a list of 100 players all with different numbers how can I select the list and see how many of each number I need?

Thank you. However if you look at your list the #1 has a total of "0" but the list has 2 #1's in the list.
I need the Number 12 and 13 to show me one number 1,2 & 3 as separate numbers.

See if the attached workbook does what you need.

Jersey numbers (1-digit or 2-digit) are entered in Cells A2:A101


Cell B2 contains the following formula to extract the first digit:

Cell C2 contains the following formula to extract the second digit:

Cells E2:E11 contain the digits 0-9


Cell F2 contains the following formula to count how many of each digit are required:

The formulas in Columns B and C are copied downwards to Row 101.
The formula in Column F is copied downwards to Row 11.
