Trying to perform a draw where 12 players don't play with each other more than once

In the midst of trying to organise a trip for golfers, I am also trying to create a draw which is fair in respects to people playing with different players on each day. There are 12 players and 3 groups of 4 each day. I've been racking my brain over how to do it as fair as possible and my head is considerably fried lol.

I'm not entirely sure it is mathematically possible over 4/5 days but even if someone could just tell me it isn't I will be at ease. I've attached the file with Player Names and Two separate tabs for the draw for either 4 or 5 days as I thought 5 days may be more possible.

    Any help is much appreciated

    12 players = 12*11/2 = 66 possible pairs.
you can make every day/round 18 duo's, so you need in theory at least 4 (= 66/18) days/rounds so that all the pairs have played together, but practical, you need more rounds.
With this macro, you choice then number of days or rounds and click on the green button.
In orange at your RHS, you see the number of duos (of those 66) that played once, twice or 3 times together.
I don't think a better balance is possible.
