Countif horizontal range by vertical column

Hello,

I am trying to get the following results. I want a count of all the "Y" in the Data sheet by the salesperson. I used this formula below, but it is not good. The dilemma is the "Y"'s are horizontal and the Salesperson is vertical. This is not the best design, but I have to keep the spreadsheet as is. The workbook is attached.

=SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(Data!B3:W1048576,"Y"),Data!X:X,Report!A3)
