I suggest you remove checkboxes and replace with simple drop down of Y/N Or simply add Y (to indicate selection) otherwise blank.

To use checkboxes to you need to assign a "Cell link" (for each checkbox) which can be tested for TRUE (selected) or FALSE (not selected).

And I think 2023 is a version of OS365 so please update your profile.
