Hi everyone,
I have an excel sheet extracted from an app which shows date/time values in the following format.
31/01/2023 13:43:56
31/01/2023 13:28:03
30/01/2023 19:46:33
30/01/2023 19:42:06
30/01/2023 19:00:22
30/01/2023 17:46:57
30/01/2023 17:45:53
30/01/2023 12:14:12
27/01/2023 12:00:53
26/01/2023 14:44:33
25/01/2023 18:01:03
25/01/2023 14:18:18
25/01/2023 13:24:53
25/01/2023 00:12:43
24/01/2023 12:06:57
To save time, I am using Power Query since I will receive the same excel sheet every month (same format). After I load the excel sheet into Power Query and start transforming the data, I want to sort the data/time values in Ascending Order (Earliest to Latest). I notice that using the traditional "Sort in Ascending/Descending Order" option in the column filter does not seem to work. I believe I will need to add a new custom column with an equation.
Can anyone help me figure out the equation required so I can arrange my data from earliest to latest?
FYI I am using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 and I have attached a sample of the Raw Excel dates as well as a screenshot of what is displayed after loading the sheet to Power Query.
Thanks in advance!
