    Calculate future return value in excel

    Hi
    I have a data which consist of current value 10000 increase values ie 10% . years 5 years.
    If the current value is 10000 if there is 10% increase everyone years what is the value after 5 years.

    I need excel formula for this

    "A2" is 10000 "B2" is percentage 10
    "C2"

    Try:

    =FV(10%, 5, 0, -10000)

    Note the sign for 10000. Inflows (10000) and outflows (FV) must have opposite signs.

    I arbitrarily chose minus sign for inflows because I usually like the result of "time value" functions (PV, FV, PMT, etc) to be positive.

    Using mathematical equation, =10000*(1+10%)^5
