Organise data based on cut off values

    Hi,

I have my original data that looks like this.

    1.png

As you can see, it shows the Id, Surname, First Name, Job and Rate.

I also have the rate cut off values. This arbitrary values I assign say 0-30 for Job 1 or 0-20 for Job 2 etc.

I want to use the cut off values and my raw data to identify only the individuals that fall between the cut off values.

For example the last entry Jeff Bezoos Job 2 Rate was 29 so he falls between the cut off values for Job 2 0-30.

    Thank you for your help/guidance.

Re: Organise data based on cut off values

    This works great!

However, I feel as those the formula hard codes the titles eg Job 1,2,3 etc.. What if I were to change the headers to something? It doesn't seem to work for example 123JOB.1

    Thanks

    Hi,

I just noticed that the formula hard codes the JOB X. Is there a way to modify it so that it is more flexible with change of headers and values other than JOB 1,2 for example 11.JOB.1

    No the code does not.
Job is the name of the column of the filtered table f:

Re: Organise data based on cut off values

If you change ALL instances of Job 2 to job_whatever_you_want it works.

If any job is listed in col D, but not in Col G, it fails. That situation can not occur in the real world, I'd assume.
