    Question Countif formula for dates

    Hello,

    I am trying to get my formula to look at dates and then look at other information to return with it is Low, Medium or High risk. Can anyone shed any light on what I have done wrong or even if it is possible.

    COUNTIFS('[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!Table8[PASS/REJ DATE],"=>"&SD,'[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!Table8[[VENDOR ]],'ISIR MASTER'!D2,COUNTIFS('[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!Table8[PASS/REJ DATE],"<="&ED,'[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!Table8[[VENDOR ]],D2,COUNTIFS('[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!$B$4:$B$482,'ISIR MASTER'!D2,'[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!$G$4:$G$482,"Rej"),"High Risk",COUNTIFS('[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!$B$4:$B$482,'ISIR MASTER'!D2,'[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!$G$4:$G$482,"Partial Rej"),"Medium Risk",COUNTIF('[INSPECTION LOG 2022 V2.xlsx]INSP LOG'!$G$4:$G$482,"Pass"),"Low Risk")

    Thanks,

    Are the target sheets open or closed? COUNTIFS does not work on closed files.

    Without SEEING it... it >>>looks<<< like you should be using nested IF statements, not COUNTIFS.
