Conditional Formatting Based off of Date

Is there a way to automatically make the numerical values between row 12 and 14 dissappear or change color to background if they precede the data that is in B1. So in this case I would like to make the values change to either 0 or change color so that the user does not see them. It would be between column range D and L since they come before October. I basicallyl do not want to user to see the 16,750.

The trick is I still want those values in there but I do not want the user to see them before October.

    Hopefully that makes sense.

    Two rules for D12:

=AND(D$10<$C$1,LEFT(D$8,1)<>"Q") - apply white format to text
=AND(D$10<$C$1,LEFT(D$8,1)="Q") - apply blue format to text

    Applies to the entire range.

Ali that is pretty cool....is there a way to do conditional formatting so that it changes the value to a "0" instead of the color coding?. I have never seen this but I thought I would ask.
