Trying to get a reasonable estimate. For my work, all my leave in the company systems is in terms of "Hours". So right now, for instance, I have 301.75 hours of vacation. So how much vacation do I have? 300.75/40. So that's about 7.5 weeks, or 37 workdays plus a little over 4 hours.
But I also have a ton of sick leave, plus from time to time I get Admin leave, Special leave, etc.
So, what I want, at any one time, is a way to see how much time I COULD take off if disaster strikes.
My total balance today is 2,132.25 hours. By my calculations that's 12 months, 1 week, 1 day and 4.25 hours.
I know "Months" is variable, so for my month value I useMy calcs are in the attached workbook, and they've done well for many years, but my totals are about to move into the Years category, so need my formulas to be able to handle the Year component. I'm also thinking by now there might be an easier way to achieve my goal, so would appreciate any ideas and any help you can provide.![]()
