SUM with date condition in a Table

I'm trying to sum a column of numbers, conditionally based on a date.
I have the below in BO RESULTS E20, however, it is not working.
I wish to sum the POINTS column in BO TRADES which has a DATE <= Nov 8 2021
Is there something about using SUM in a Table or something?

    A power query solution

Power Query is a free AddIn for Excel 2010 and 2013, and is built-in functionality from Excel 2016 onwards (where it is referred to as "Get & Transform Data").

It is a powerful yet simple way of getting, changing and using data from a broad variety of sources, creating steps which may be easily repeated and refreshed. I strongly recommend learning how to use Power Query - it's among the most powerful functionalities of Excel.

Re: SUM with date condition in a Table

In the attached WB, I wish to do similar calculations to a number of fields, however, I'm finding I cannot simply apply the same approach to each.

For example, In BO RESULTS E17 & F17, I want to calculate the win % before and after Nov 8, 2021, respectively. The below formula works for <= the date, but when I try > in place of, it errors out. Why is this?

Re: SUM with date condition in a Table

Ok, I created a new test WB and re-attached to OP.

I just don't get using dates. Why is it not uniform across all functions.
