i need to Calculate the average days the tickets have been open in the past 30 days

i need to Calculate the average days the tickets have been open in the past 30 days from a specific number which is on sheet issue tracker chart B8.

When i change that date i need the formula to calculate + 30 days from that date then average it.

I tried make a table to get the individual number from each day then average it that way but i couldn't do that either.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I would like to be a little more rigorous about what you are trying to calculate
the average days the tickets have been open in the past 30 days
    1. Look at each day starting at the start date in B8, and add the number days that all tickets that are open on that day have been open, and do this for all days, and take the average
    2. Look at each ticket that was either still open as of 30 days after the start date, or was closed in the 30 days after the start date, and average the number of days each of those tickets has been open as of 30 days after the start date.
    3. Something else

What are you trying to measure with this number? The effectiveness of closing tickets?

Yes this is what i am after , to include all tickets even ones that have been closed so i can get a over all average on how long its taken maintenance to fix the issues in a given 30 day period.
