3-axis table for race car logging analysis

    Hi! First post!

I need to form 3-axis table that is composed at race car engine management system log files. Can you give me a hint what MS-Excel function or tool should i use to get started.

Table column axis is engines intake vacuum pressure: (MAP) 0-105 scale.
Row axis is engine rotational speed: (RPM) 400-7200 scale.
Third axis, chosen sensor data. For example (Total fueling error +-%) 3rd axis cell hit should be controlled according to MAP and RPM axis values at same row.

Data is read at 10Hz frequency, so 10 rows is one second. All sensor data is separated to columns with headers.

When engine idles (MAP 55 + RPM 800) there is multiple hits in the same cell. Hits should be all averaged values. Bonus: somehow show cell hit numbers.

Color coded picture in attachment which should clarify more.

    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
