Hi, I require help with a formula that shows if there is a tie for INDEX Match. Currently if there is a tie result it will only show the value from the start of the first data range.

Where will I find the formula? Is this the correct workbook?
Try this in O12:
=IF(COUNTIF(K12:N12,"Please Select PASS/ FAIL")=4,"", CHOOSE(SIGN(COUNTIF(K12:N12,"Pass")-COUNTIF(K12:N12,"Fail"))+2,"FAIL","TIE","PASS"))

Can I modify the above to have Exceptional, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory or will it need to be a new formula?

Provide an updated sample workbook and remove the SOLVED tag from the thread.

What are the rules for this?
How many of each are needed to get what in col O?
eg 2x Exept + 1 Sat = Sat? or???
Im thinking that if you gave a score of 1 to 3 for the last 3 rows, based on the selection, you could calc an average based on that?
