Does anyone know what formula to put in the total cell to get the correct answer?
I need to make the price of $100.00 into $179.40 by adding 15%, then 20%, then 30%.
BURDEN OVERHEAD PROFIT TOTAL:
MATERIAL C&M: $100.00 15% 20% 30% ?????

The result is not correct.
A1=€ 100
B1=115%
C1=120%
D1=130%
E1 ==A1*B1*C1*D1
Result € 179,40

Since I am not able to edit the earlier threath, the formula in E1 should (of course) be
E1 =A1*B1*C1*D1
If you mean you want to start with 100, add 15%, then add 20% to the resulting answer, then add 30% to the resulting answer, then you want:
=100*1.15*1.2*1.3
(replace values with cell references where appropriate)
Your example of 156 is what you get if you do 100*1.2*1.3, you seem to have missed out the 15%.
I corrected my math (I originally had the 15% as 0%).
I tried E1 =A1*B1*C1*D1 and I got an answer of $0.90
You need to add 1 to the percentages, try:
E1=A1*(1+B1)*(1+C1)*(1+D1)
Not for me.
See the attached file.
That worked, Thank you!
