Formula to split totals depending on the number of days in a month

    Hi OPs,

I want a formula in Column B that will ensure: The first 4 days of the month will always be blank and have no targets. From the 5th day of the month until the end of the month, the monthly target is to be split equally amongst those days.

Why does your month end on day 20? That's not the end of the month, so you have missed part of the necessary explanation of what you want.

Try this in B2 copied down:

    =IF(A2="","",IF(DAY(A2)<5,"",$G$2/(LOOKUP(2,1/(A:A<>""),ROW(A:A)-1)-4)))

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I assumed that the attachment of the sample should not exceed 20 rows.

Did you try my suggestion? It should work on a full month.
