    Golf Score averaging

Each time we play a round of golf, we keep our last 7 rounds and average out our score.
I manually input the last score in column B.
I then manually copy and paste from C4 to H4 into D4. What this does is to move the scores over to the right and dropping the oldest score out.

Questions: 1. Can the copying & pasting happen automatically when I input a score in column B? Is there a formula that can do this?
    2. In column J, can it average only the 5 scores and drop the lowest & highest score? Looking formula that removes the highest & lowest, then average the rest of the scores.
    3. Also looking to add in column K, if there's a way it can rate the lowest to highest score with a 1 to 5 automatically after inputting the scores?

I wasn't sure also if I should be using a table format. The only reason I used it was to either add or omit players. Any ideas or thoughts?
I'm not even sure if I'm using the average formula correctly. Was trying to eliminate a #error or #value in a blank cell.

Question 1: No. That requires VBA.
Question 2: Yes. Try this in J4 and copy down.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Question 3: Not sure. Do you mean ranking the players by the above averages? If so try this in K4 and copy down.

    Re: Golf Score averaging

If you want to automatically insert new row , you may need VBA or Table.

Please remove all text after A10:J10
and Select range A3:J9 as table
(you was select A2:J9 as table)
and copy formula in j8 to j9

then, when you add new data to A9, A10 the table will expanded.

    Regards.

Thank you FlameRetired & menem. This helps.
I'm not very good at VBA but if I do use VBA I'll probably be asking for help again.
