Hi,
I need a formula fix and review, to lookup a value (description) and then return a grouped up value.
I tried using vlookup & xlookup with wildcard, but the result not what I wanted.
Based on keyword in G or J, it will return H or K after find it from B.
It seems able to return a value if the B is 1 word. My sample excel as attached.

I'm more curious what the 99999 actually stand for, if you won't mind explaining. If this is something I can trial and error later on.

It's a trick I've known for a long time, but I am sorry, I cannot explain the mechanics behind it. What I can tell you is this: if you want to make it case-sensitive, then replace SEARCH with FIND. Also, it's a good idea to sort the lookup list alphabetically.
