Pull Data from other Tabs into a Summary Tab only if certain data selected in Column

    Hi There,

I am in need of a formula where I can pull data from other tabs to a summary tab, depending on the data within a specific column in other tabs.

Attached is the foundation of the file I'm using...

On the Blue Tabs you can see that there is a 'POST SSU TRAINING' Column (Column K). These cells contain a drop down list where if the customer wants training, they can specify how long after their practice opens, that they want training to occur.

Essentially what I need is that when a customer has selected a time frame for a product, the ITEM CODE, DESCRIPTION and POST SSU TRAINING columns (C, D and K) move across into the POST SSU TRAINING tab automatically (appearing under the appropriate corresponding heading).

I only want these items to move across if a time frame has been specified in Column K. If the cell remains blank, I don't want any data to move to the summary page for that row.

I really hope someone can help me - it's probably a really simple formula but I just can't get my head around it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ClairW34. Welcome to the forum.

You will need to clean up your data sources and normalize your source layouts ('Other' does not have the same column/row layout as the other sheets.

Also some of your sheet names have leading/trailing spaces. One even has a trailing ".". These are not present in the headers of 'POST SSU TRAINING'.

I have cleaned them up in the attached.

Then put this formula in B11 and fill across to D11.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Select that range and copy it. Now paste into F11, J11, N11, R11, V11 and Z11.

    Hello Dave,

Appreciate the clean up, thank you.

I was looking for data to only come across if a drop down was selected from the POST SSU TRAINING column.

    Therefore.....

If Column K is empty, I don't want the ITEM CODE, DESCRIPTION or POST SSU TRAINING data to move across to the summary sheet.
If Column K has a time frame selected, only then should the ITEM CODE, DESCRIPTION or POST SSU TRAINING data to move across

So perhaps embedding an if function? Sorry I'm a complete novice at Excel formulas.
