Force excel to give the desired result

If you divide 10 by 3 the result is 3.3 recurring. 3.3 is the answer I require, with just one decimal place. End of.

However later I can end up with 3.3 + 3.3 + 3.3 =10 when I need it to equal as seen, 9.9.

Is there a way to do this? A way to convert 3.3 recurring to just 3.3 or do I have to enter it manually?

I obviously know you can format the cell to show just one decimal place but in this instance it doesn't help.
