How To Countif = ABC, Count Cell A1

Counting Question. I need a better way to manage preorder products. I've been using excel, but as the preorders increase I spend to much time manually counting. And I know the excel wizards have a better way I can adapt into some excel I will create. If there's something already made up, please let me know.

Basically need a formula along these lines.

    IF B1 = ABC, Count C1.

Attached is sample excel. A1:B5 is the intended results for A12:C22.

Using "=COUNTIFS(B:B,"TV")" I can count number of rows containing "TV" but I need to count the cell to right of the descriptor.

    I always appreciate the help!

No, you don’t want a count - you want a sum.

    In B2 copied down:

    =SUMIF($B$12:$B$22,A2,$C$12:$C$22)
