Attendance Tracker: Variables & Counting Consecutive Days Worked with Reset

    Hello,
I am trying to create an Attendance Tracker tracks attendance points using variables. I created a separate tab that contains the variable names and how many points are associated with the different infractions. I made a drop-down list to select from, but I am unable to sum it using the drop-down. I also need the attendance tracker to count the number of consecutive shifts worked. The consecutive shifts worked, will be based on how many times the word "PRESENT" is seen in a row, if an infraction is listed, it will reset the count to zero. I have tried different things, like frequency counter, but that doesn't reset the count to zero. I am completely stuck. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

A workbook with no data is of little value so please add examples of expected output, including the case where you want a count re-set.

I edited the attachment from my first post. Hopefully that helps. I added notes on the totals I would be expecting.
