    Help completing my spreadsheet

I have a shreadsheet that list all the 'Dies' we have on site.
The final column that needs completinh it what machine the Dies can be used on.
I have setup a table of all the machines and the info needed to establish which machine each die can be used on.Dies.jpgMachines.jpg
The 2 red columns is the info that needs to be checked on the machine table.
EG column 2 the repeat is 228.6 and the total min paper width is 117. Meaning that all machines are wide enough but only machines 5100,505,5110,5010,5130 & 5135 have the correct repeat to hold the die. I would like column u to be populated with the correct machines for each die.

see big yellow banner - how to upload a workbook - a workbook is worth a thousand pictures.
should prove a relatively easy solution.

    Re: Help completing my spreadsheet

Sorry, been busy for the weekend.
Can you explain the exact process of ascertaining the combinations.
I have read through several times and it is not clear to me.
I am usually very switched on but I am having a complete mental block (am I missing something very obvious).

    Re: Help completing my spreadsheet

    Thanks Torachan. I'll try:
Each machine on the Macnines tab has a max width they can work up to. EG the 5100 can go to a maximum width of 280 and the 5000 to a maximum width of 530.
Then listed below each machine is the repeat around sizes each machine can achive (this is an exact figure).
The Dies sheet is a list of all Dies we currently have (over 5300). What I need is to know whch machine each die is capable if being installed onto.
The 2 examples that I have competed by hand:
FFOLD/01449 has a repeat around of 228.6 so only those machines on the machines tab that has the possiblity of mactching the repeat around should be selected. It also has a Min paper width of 117 therefore all machines tick this criteria.
FFOLD/00587 firstly the total minmum paper width is 322.8 so any machine that has a max width below this shopuld not be selected. The Repeat Around of 406.4 although 8 machines match thi criteria only 2 have aouth width to match te 322.8 width.

    Hopefully this is clearer.

    Trying to understand:

Compare value in Column T vs Rrow 2 ?

If row 2 >=T then look at (all?) rows to check Round criteria (as multiple rows meet criteria).

For your first example why are 5000 and 5005 excluded ?

Second example is "easier" as there is an exact match on round on row 8

    Re: Help completing my spreadsheet

It's not only 5000 & 5005 that are ecluded from row 2. 5120 & 5125 are also excluded his is because they can not do repeat around of 228.6

I don't have 365 but I am sure function TEXTJOIN will fit the bill.
