Links keep breaking on file between shared users.

Let me preface this. We use a program called egnyte for our services. It is essentially a file service that allows everyone to consolidate their files onto either a Z drive when you install the desktop program. Or you can use the webservice program.

It allows us to have a shared drive where we can upload the files easily for others to use.

My current file has a metric boatload of Vlookups that lookup things on other files located on this Z drive. Those have never borked out.

I recently though started matching a PO number to a folder that stores our actual PO of it in order to quickly pull it up from the file. This lasted about a week before it got all messed up and no longer works.

I want to get this working again because it was super useful, the issue is we have 100s of PO's and manually linking them to their specified folder took forever, so if there is no definitive way to not have these links break again I would rather not bother doing it.

So excelforum is there anyway to guarantee these links dont get messed up.

Do NOT use lettered drives. Some users do not have the map.
Instead, use the full UNC path: \\server\folder\folder2...
