How to convert Month Name to a 2 Digit Month Number

I've been able to find this formula to convert the month name to a number [=MONTH(DATEVALUE(A2&" 1"))], but I need the month to be digit. So January needs to equal 01....not 1. I was unsuccessful trying to nest TEXT into the formula. I will take any suggestions!!
