Conditional Formatting Problem

Hello everyone,
Having Jindon highlight a problem with overbooking, I have overcome this using the conditional formatting. Under the "Highlight cell rules ; Text that contain:" I have managed to successfully configure all of my database except for 2 groups.
These are the BVBQUADBB and BVBQUADHB 1st Room : 5th Room. They do not show the formatting when posted to the Datasheet under the Concatenated cells in column Q. I have cleared all the cells in column Q, also the cells in the Data page where the data is kept for the data validation dropdown boxes.

I am using custom format with a pattern style to differentiate between each cell so that an easy recognition can be achieved if when sorted the date will show up as a different date and therefore the colour should stand out. Obviously if a room is fully filled with people arriving on the same day then they will all be collected together but if a person arrives a day late then only 3 will be together and the last one lower down in the list when sorted .

I am afraid that I am stumped on this one and would appreciate any advice.
