    How can I write a formula to divide incoming customers between two service desks?

    This is for university extracurricular work and haven't slept in the last few days.

    How can I write a formula to divide incoming customers between two service desks?

    I have set TIME BETWEEN ARRIVALS and SERVICE TIMES) to generate random values.

    Scenario would be, customer #1 will go to desk #1. then customer #2 will go to desk #2.

    Then Customer #3 will wait until one of the desks become free depending on the service time and choose the firstly available desk. this rule applies to all the customer sthat comes after (#4, 5 , 6, ...ect.) Any ideas on how to solve this ?
