Function Help - Populate status based on matched Task ID

I am looking for a way to update the status column of a sheet, drawing from a number of other sheets.

I have three employees, each with different tasks allocated

Sheet 1 provides a summary of all tasks, and the status of each task. The task number is in Column C

Each employee has their own sheet, with tasks listed, and the status.

Using the task ID, I want a formula which matches the task ID and pulls the status from the particular employees sheet to populate the status on Sheet 1.

    E.g.

PA 1.1 can be found on Sheet JS, in cell A31. I want the status from Sheet JS in Cell G31 to show in Sheet 1 Cell I3

Please refer to the attached workbook. All help greatly appreciated.

Ideally the solution could just be put into Sheet 1 I3, and filled down

    Cheers

    Re: Function Help

Try this in B3 and drag down

    =IFERROR(INDEX(Tim!$B$3:$B$100,MATCH(A3,Tim!$A3:$A100,0)),"") & IFERROR(INDEX(Jim!$B$3:$B$100,MATCH(A3,Jim!$A$3:$A$100,0)),"") & IFERROR(INDEX(Steve!$B$3:$B$100,MATCH(A3,Steve!$A$3:$A$100,0)),"")

    Re: Function Help

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it is producing a blank cell

EDIT>looks like you were using the first sheet I uploaded. I uploaded a new sheet which will work better for when I copy over the formula.

    Re: Function Help

It might be a good idea if you let people know you change the worksheet and completely edit your original post

You'll be able to copy the logic from the formula I provided into the format you need for your new sheet
