    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. As you are new, I did it for you today.)

Assuming that the categories will not always be lumped together, try something like this formula
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Re: Textjoin product names which falls in the same category

Assuming ChemistB's solution gives your desired result, here is an alternative (without INDIRECT):

    =D1&": "&TEXTJOIN(", ",TRUE,IF($B$1:$B$5=D1,$A$1:$A$5,""))

You may need ; as the separator in Hungary. If it IS NOT the correct output, please attach a smaple sheet showing EXACTLY what you want. See the yellow banner for instructions on attaching an Excel sheet.

Re: Textjoin product names which falls in the same category

You can get that in a separate column:

    =TEXTJOIN(", ",TRUE,IF($E$11:$E$25=A11,$D$11:$D$25,""))

But... if you want it to appear in the SAME column as the raw data, you will have to do a lot of manual copy/pasting of the formula.

Re: Textjoin product names which falls in the same category

Thank you for the quick anwser.

The criteria is that to select repeating attribute values out and only textjoin every value once from the attribute values column.

No... not there yet. Am I looking at column A or column B or BOTH combined?

Fortunately, you have OFFICE 365, if not, you can also solve this problem with a custom function

TEXTJOIN is not available in Excel 2013. Try the UDF offered in post #19.
