Permanent formula in cell

    The short answer is no. If you enter data into C12 or delete it, then the formula is overwritten.

    You could protect the cell so the formula could not be overwritten, but that would mean that the sheet has to be protected, so you would have to unprotect the other cells where you expect the Users to enter data.
