Hi All,
Trying to come up with a formula that looks up the location and counts the total for that location. As you can see, a vlookup doesn't count the total for the location. I am thinking that it is a countif or sum if statement but don't know how to do it.
Can someone help please? I have attached a sample file.

In C2, copied across and down:
=SUMIF(Detail!$A:$A,Summary!$A2,Detail!C:C)
