Working Days

I am trying to get the total of working days in a specific month excluding Saturdays and Sundays, I have a graphical calendar and wondering how I can get the working days without having to extract a start date and an end date.
How can I achieve this by using B2 (2021)B3 (January) and the 31 days in January etc and returning the working days in B10 for example.

What's the indication for total working days? The count of the cells that are colored in blue that you've shown us?

Have you tried the =NETWORKDAYS() function?

it looks as though Richard is right in this case period apparently the function he's talking about only returns working days which of course is the same thing as business days, 5 days a week without Saturday and sunday. See here:

Not able to follow the narrative as the sample pic does not show B3 or B10 (?)

See if you can make something like this work. Initiate each month by the 1st day of each month ... then this formula in B2 and filled down.

=NETWORKDAYS(EOMONTH(A2,-1)+1,EOMONTH(A2,0))
