    Question Help with COUNTIFS function

    Hi everyone

I'm attempting to write the following forumula for the following table (I want to count all the 1 bed properties that are also HMOs)
    xcel help.PNG

    this is my current formula:

    =COUNTIFS($B$3:$B$75,"1",$C$3:$C$75,"Yes")

Any idea why excel is not accepting it?

I've checked and my list seperator is a comma.

    Re: Help with COUNTIFS function

You had " ' " before the formula:

    =COUNTIFS($B$3:$B$75,"1",$C$3:$C$75,"Y")

Yes that was because I wanted to be able to edit it without continually getting the error message from excel.

Not for me sorry :/ could it be because I am using an online shared excel document through Microsoft Teams? Or could it be a regional issue being in the UK and you are in Israel?

So when i opened that file, it said 26 in K4 but most the text of the formula has gone missing (This issue happened to me earlier when I opened the file which I had actually got the formula working on) and then when I clicked in cell K4 and tried to see what was going on and then pressed enter the 'too few arguments' error message came up.
