Date problem using CONCATENATE

Hi there, my file won't upload, the date is replicating as a number format from Cell $A2, is there any way to make it appear as typed without making the cell "Text".
I'd like to use the Date elsewhere which is why I need it to remain as a date format (Cell A2)

=CONCATENATE($A2," - ",$B2,$C2)

=CONCATENATE(TEXT($A2,"dd/mm/yyyy")," - ",$B2,$C2)

Great outcome, works brilliantly. I thought it would be a simple fix, my mind was at DATE instead of TEXT.
