    % Percentage calculation of Man-hours in Project tracking.

    Hello All!

    I am currently working on a project involved in the fabrication and manufacturing of Tanks and am assigned to track the activities involved using excel.

    I have attached an excel sheet which contains estimations of Man-hours required to build each component. I wish to know if there is a way to convert the man-hours allocated to actual hours work down into % percentage progress of work done on each component.

    What formula should I be using to get % of work completion based on man-hours allocated to actual man-hours?

    I feel that we need more information such as:
    1. which of the values on the sheet represent Man-hours allocated?
    2. which of the values on the sheet represent actual hours worked?
    3. where do you want to place the output for percentage of progress of work done?
    It would be a real help if you could manually calculate the percentage for at least one component so that we would know whether or not our proposed formula(s)/code are correct.
