extract left numbers from text
Hi,
I have following type data
225002SUB ST 12
225012SUB ST 23
225014SUB ST 58
227013SUB ST 29
227041SUB ST 24
227513SUB STA 55
227518SUB STA 54
2210019LOSS 31
2270116DOU 20
2270127SUB STA 40
2270128DOU 35
But I want the result as
25002
225012
225014
227013
227041
227513
227518
2210019
2270116
2270127
2270128
only left numbers I required....
Try this:
=-LOOKUP(1,-LEFT(A1,ROW(A$1:A$15)))
